• Tropicana has engaged the experienced Wong Family of the Unique Seafood Group of restaurants and opened a new premium pork-free Chinese seafood restaurant at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort.

• Elevating the dining experience, this 9,600 sq ft restaurant can fit up to 210 pax and offers 5 elegant VIP rooms that are each fitted with an immersive KTV experience.

Atlantic Seafood Restaurant is set to create extraordinary epicurean occasions and elevate the dining experience as the first seafood restaurant in Tropicana Golf & Country Resort (“TGCR”). This new premium pork-free Chinese seafood restaurant possesses a grand restaurant space of 9,600 sq ft which can fit up to 210 pax while offering 5 elegant VIP rooms that are each fitted with an immersive KTV experience.

Set to serve up a multitude of seafood from both local and international shores, Atlantic Seafood Restaurant stocks a wide variety of live seafood including lobsters, crabs, geoduck, prawns, abalone, fish, shellfish, dried seafood, mollusks, meat, poultry, vegetables, beancurd, noodles, rice and dessert. The renowned award-winning chefs are carefully selected, possessing more than 30 years of experience combined in superior Chinese seafood cuisine, dishing out more than 219 gastronomic variations.

“From the 1980s, our family started off as a fresh seafood supplier to local and international restaurants. As we expanded our business foothold, coupled with our passion for delicious seafood cuisine, we branched out to own our first Unique Seafood Restaurant in 2000 at Petaling Jaya. The new establishment sets a new milestone for our Group and together we bring more value to the popular Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, serving fresh seafood to affluent members, golfers, residents and distinguished visitors,” shared Abby Wong, Marketing & Sales Director of Unique Seafood Group.

THE UNIQUE SEAFOOD TOUCH

Nestled at the tasteful main wing of Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, Atlantic Seafood Restaurant is a full-service restaurant that serves premium pork-free Chinese seafood emphasising freshness and flavour. Having just opened its doors in March 2024, the restaurant is frequented by distinguished golfers, affluent residents around the neighbourhood, office folks as well as TGCR visitors. The restaurant’s trademark is the Aquarium room which enables guests to view and select imported and locally harvested fish and shellfish to be prepared to their liking by the Master Chefs and their talented team.

Behind the scenes, the restaurant’s signature cuisine and flavourful dishes are curated by Chef Low Chee Yeow and Chef Lew Chee How. Chef Low is the Banquet Head Chef with several decades of cooking Chinese seafood and banquet dinners in his arsenal. Chef Lew, while younger, is highly skilled and was the head chef for a famous Chinese restaurant chain for over a decade and continues that honoured role with Atlantic Seafood Restaurant. Both chefs complement each other creating world-class gastronomy in the heart of Tropicana Golf & Country Resort. Carefully selecting fresh ingredients daily to provide the best seafood culinary experience to guests, the chefs have also been featured in the Malaysia International Gastronomy Festival (“MIGF”).
