Delhi Capitals have retained the core of their team ahead of the IPL Auction and subsequently the IPL 2024 season. Rishabh Pant, who missed the entire 2023 season due to injuries sustained in a car accident, has been retained. As have the likes of David Warner, Axar Patel, Prithvi Shaw, and Mitchell Marsh. Notable names released by DC include South Africa’s Rilee Rossouw, England’s Phil Salt, West Indian Rovman Powell, as well as Indian talents Chetan Sakariya and Priyam Garg.

Delhi Capitals have a maximum of nine slots to fill, four of which are designated for overseas players. They’ve spent Rs 71.05 crore so far leaving them with Rs 28.95 crore in total purse for further acquisitions.
